A simple tooth cleaner that cleans your teeth and leaves your mouth feeling fresh. No fluoride, foaming agents, sweeteners or preservatives.
Two ounce size is the starter. Keep the jar, then order larger sizes for refill. Sizes are based on weight.
Sodium Bicarbonate, steam distilled Mentha Piperita (Peppermint)* Essential Oil.
Baking soda was a trusted tooth cleaner long before it was added to the tubes you see in stores. It gently and naturally polishes and whitens teeth. Baking soda is less abrasive than most commercial toothpastes.
Peppermint essential oil adds flavor and freshness. It also has antibacterial, antiseptic, and pain-relieving properties. Peppermint is said to be beneficial for mouth and gum infections.

Wet your toothbrush and shake off excess water. Press the bristles gently onto the powder. The brush will pick up just the right amount. Brush your teeth!
Keep the 2 oz jar for your personal use. It's the best one for daily use because you don't end up putting your brush in at an angle that drips water into the powder.
To maintain good hygiene every member of the family should have their own. Wash it out once it's empty, then fill the jar from a larger, less expensive size that everyone can use for refills.
Use within 1 year of purchase.
Not for internal use. Keep out of eyes.
It took me a while to get used to not having sweet toothpaste. Now I can't stand regular toothpaste!
My teeth stay whiter and cleaner, and perhaps most significant I no longer get sores in my mouth which I believe were caused by the sodium laurel sulfate in my previous toothpaste.
If you want even more whitening power, dilute some hydrogen peroxide with an equal amount of distilled water. Swish a small amount in your mouth for as long as you can after brushing. I hold the liquid in the front of my mouth with my tongue, so that my teeth get the most effect. I usually only last a minute or two before spitting it out. (Hydrogen peroxide is the active ingredient in tooth whitening strips.)
The peroxide I start with is a 3% solution, the standard at the pharmacy or grocery store as far as I can tell. Then I add an equal amount of distilled water.
Do not put full strength hydrogen peroxide in your mouth! Don't swallow it; spit it out!
